West End performer –┬áSaturday Singing Coach

Ashleigh is a classically trained singer & graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Music/Major in Classical Voice (UNSW, Australia). She then received a scholarship to train at Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore where she secured a Bachelor of Arts (1st Class Honours) in Musical Theatre. Upon graduating in 2008 she moved to Hong Kong where she performed the role of ‘Belle’ in The Golden Mickeys, Disneyland.

After relocating to the UK in 2009, she secured the role of ‘Sister Sophia’ in the West End touring Production of The Sound of Music starring Connie Fisher and Jason Donovan. She has since played the role in Bahrain and Doha for Popular Productions. In 2012 she landed the part of Cover Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre, London) where she played the role 70 times in two years.

Ashleigh has over twelve years teaching experience both as a private voice teacher and teaching group singing and acting. She has also coached students for their LAMDA exams and lead Musical Theatre workshops both in the UK and in Singapore. She is thrilled to be teaching singing at the Starburst Academy.
